I was sent the link to make an appointment with a nurse for Long Term Condition Review which relates to blood pressure. I had no contact with the receptionists as I made the appointment online and checked in using the TV screen.
The nurse was very pleasant but the review is essentially a tick-boxes on screen exercise and some answers I gave were not exactly transposed when checking the info afterwards on the NHS app.
I was told earlier in March by telephone that someone would be giving me a telephone call on the 28th March at 11:30am for a yearly review. Waited for the call telling my husband not to ring me at this time. Then I received a text to say I’d missed an appointment at the surgery. I rang the surgery to be told that the receptionists wouldn’t have said that as it can’t be done over the telephone. My husband and I had heard on loud speaker while checking that I was available that day. I would’ve come to the surgery!!!
I have been trying for months to see a doctor all I get is you have to see an OT or speak to a pharmacist. I am in a lot of pain and all I get is 1 months supply of pain killers then I have to start the whole process again which takes weeks. I am in pain in both legs my right shoulder and elbow I can't sit on the toilet to do my business so I have problems in that department now I can't get out of the bath and have fallen several times and hit my head and I have been begging to other people for pain killers I may have to go to A&E soon
Regarding receptionist , i use screen to login !!
Not made a appointment for a while!
Called in for regular check ups !
I was waiting for doctor to take my 24 hour blood pressure machine off and needed to leave to pick up my wife so the receptionist took it off so I could leave
